We are excited to announce Eira Tobrand, as our new talented analyst hire here at Luminar Ventures. In the past months, we have been actively looking for a new analyst that could complement both our investment team and our CFO practice. Eira has a unique combination of investment and compliance experience, talent and interest, which are normally difficult disciplines and qualities to merge. Topping that with a competitive tennis background and a winning mentality, we believe that Eira will add great value and a perfect cultural fit to Luminar Ventures.
For the past five years, Eira has been working towards achieving her bachelors in Economics and Business Administration, Finance at California State University, Fullerton, while on a scholarship for Division 1 tennis where she had the role as team captain. She combined her studies, and 30 hours per week of tennis practice, with a role as an investment analyst and portfolio manager for her university’s Titan Capital Management program, participation in international investment competitions, and undertaking leadership positions in various other investment programs.
